About This Item

The Xiaomi Mijia Aircon Companion 2 makes your aircon smart to maximise your comfort. It is based on WiFi and ZiBee wireless transmission technology. It controls your aircon through infrared signals to turn your aircon into a smart one. This device and the aircondioner it is controlling have to be within line-of-sight.

Working in conjunction with the Mijia Temperature Humidity monitor, the Mijia Aircon Companion 2 monitors your environment in real time and adjust the temperature to maximise your conform. It can similarly be controlled when linked with other smart devices like window sensor, wireless smart switch, door switch or AI voice control. It can also be set to turn on or off at specific times.

Another useful feature is its capability to monitor and aggregate the power consumption of the airconditioner and provide its consumption statistics. According to the manufacturer, its infrared library can support 229 brands of wall-mounted airconditioners (16A plug type).

Like many other Xiaomi products, this devices was made for the China market. The manual is in Chinese. The Mi Home App which works with this device is multi-languge, including English and many other languages.

  6. Follow the on-screen Mi Home App prompt to complete your pairing.
