The 70mai Smart Rearview Dash Cam Wide is manufactured by 70mai, one of Xiaomi’s ecochain companies. It is an innovative design with a 9.35 inch IPS display to give superior quality front view, allowing you to record at a resolution of 1920 x 1080P at an angle of 130 degrees. Together with an optional rear camera (sold separately), the system provides you a wide field of view so blind spots are no longer a problem under adverse lighting or weather conditions. The Night Vision Backup Cam provides superior night images and aids reversing. Images are saved on a Mircro SD card (not included) and old images are overwritten once the card is full.

The built-in G-Sensor technology automatically saves footage in emergency events for you. Should any collision or crash happen, 70mai Rearview Dash Cam Wide auto locks the real-time video segments and prevents them from being deleted or overwritten during loop recording. Defogging algorithm produces a clear vision while driving in smoke and haze environment. WDR technology can adjust exposure balance, enabling the camera to pick up greater detail in darkness and highlights.

The 70mai Rearview Dash Cam can be controlled from the phone via the 70mai mobile app using WiFi. Watch live streaming view, replay or download recorded footage whenever and wherever you want them.

Both optional rear cameras are IP67 waterproof. They serve as perfect replacement for wet mirrors and windscreens that hinder our vision. In addition, the sapphire lens of the cameras, effectively reduces the glare of the lights of other cars.

With the addition of the 70mai Hardwire Kit (sold separately), this dash cam also features 24-hour parking surveillance. In this mode of operation, the camera remains in standby mode. As soon as it detects any vibrations through the G-sensor, the camera wakes up and record a 1 minute video clip which is saved in a separate folder. After you return to the car, the camera will notifiy you the existence of the parking video.

This Hardwire Kit is connected directly to the car battery at the fuse box thus supplying power to the dash cam for 24 hours even when the engine is switched off. If the vehicle battery voltage drops to 11.4V or 22.8V, the regulator will cut off the power, leaving enough power to start the vehicle. It requires a professional technician to do the installation.
